A Solar Powered AC Motor Coupled Water Pumping System
Abstract
Solar energy is stored in battery through the solar charging control Circuit. Solar charging control circuit protects the battery when it is fully charged.A MOSFET Converter was developed, which is also called a cascaded inverter since it has two stages of conversion with four MOSFETs in each stage. The primary advantage of this converter is its simplicity and ability to scale up to high power throughput. Through this approach the drawbacks during the DC motor usage are overcome and a high power throughput is obtained from the designed MOSFET converter as it delivers accurate output value with low power loss and less output ripple because converter has its own filter. Microcontroller is the heart of the project. Microcontroller produces the PWM pulses for MOSFET Converter Circuit. Driver circuits are used in this design to drive the PWM pulses to MOSFET Converter Circuit
