Construction and Fabrication of Personal Transporter
Abstract
Personal Transporter is a three-wheeled battery powered electric vehicle which is a type of electric vehicle that uses chemical energy stored in rechargeable battery packs. Personal Transporter makes use of an incorporated Hub motor in the front wheel along with electrical systems that include motor controller, DC-DC converter and others instead of conventional internal combustion engines for propulsion. A battery-only electric vehicle or all-electric vehicle derives all its power from its battery packs and thus has no internal combustion engine, fuel cell, or fuel tank. Personal Transporter is a vehicle whose main agenda is to transport people, cargo and luggage for short distances hence saving time and effort. It can also be used for surveillance, security and patrolling purposes. It is preferred over other conventional locomotives for its size, durability and its eco-friendly characteristics as it draws its energy from clean source which is battery unlike the conventional vehicles which power on exhaustible fuel with harmful emissions. Hence the work involves in constructing of Personal Transporter with the help of suitable design drawings at an optimal economic expense which is the end results of the paper
